Metal Tanks (exterior)

The combination of RUST BASE, STOP HEAT, and NOVA SHINE coatings can help address challenges such as corrosion, surface heat from sunlight, and UV-related color fading on exterior metal tanks. Each product is designed for independent or integrated use, depending on performance goals. Applying STOP HEAT to select tank applications has been shown to reduce solar heat gain under certain test conditions.

Permanently encapsulate concrete with RUST BASE. Bridge hairline cracks and strengthen concrete to resist spalling. RUST BASE while known as the best corrosion protection coating, also is an exceptional sealer for concrete.

Pipelines

Protect metal pipes once and for all with RUST BASE. Apply multiple coats in a single day saving time and money using the moisture cure properties. Near white blast is never required, at most only a brush off blast. For colors, use NOVA SHINE topcoat for color matching pipelines to corporate specs.

Metal Buildings

Interior rusted metal sheets and steel beams can be coated with RUST BASE for superior long term corrosion protection, while reducing surface preparation costs. RUST BASE can be used as the primer, intermediate and topcoat if you like the silver metallic color otherwise topcoat with NOVA SHINE for color.

Dry Bulk Rail

Coat exterior and interior with RUST BASE for unmatched abrasion and corrosion protection. RUST BASE can be applied over minimally prepared steel with quick dry capability to save time and money. The aluminum pigments provide RUST BASE with extra protection against abrasion.

AC Units

RUST BASE may be used on exterior AC and air handling units to help control rust on metal surfaces. For additional solar reflectivity, STOP HEAT can be applied to the AC exterior and exposed metal ducting to reduce surface heating from sunlight.

Rebar

Apply RUST BASE on rebar to seal the rust and resist bloom and off-gasing which causes an internal sulfate attach that results in cracking of the concrete. Improve the longevity of the concrete by sealing the rebar with RUST BASE.

Telecommunications Towers

RUST BASE can go directly over aging galvanized steel, giving it a new life and corrosion protection without costly maintenance and surface preparation. Brush, roll or spay directly on aging telecommunications towers. The aluminum metallics also reflect heat off of the metal.
